Driven by the inspiration of creating a magic cloud that offers supreme sitting experience for all postures, Wendy Liu designed the Cloud Sofa in 2014, making the wish of sitting on a cloud a reality. In addition to the appealing outlook, the sofa retains the softness and light weight of clouds, allowing people to change their positions with uniformly comfortable sitting experience.
In 2020, after constant consideration and trials for six years, the designer launched the Cloud Sofa again with new design and structure. Based on the design philosophy of space aesthetics, the Cloud Sofa features plump shape and gentle curves that suits all space.
The Cloud Sofa innovatively uses cross solid wood for the frame and the highly-resilient molded PU foam for infill. The upholstered materials are tailored to the special shape of clouds, and the backrest is ergonomically designed to cater to various sitting postures.
